Westport, CT – A wide collection of local and regional breweries will serve up their favorite seasonal craft beer tastings at Westoberfest on October 16 at 2:00 p.m. in the heart of downtown Westport on Elm Street.
No festival is complete without great food and live music, and Westoberfest will not disappoint. Local culinary favorites Walrus + Carpenter and others will be on hand to satisfy any appetite, and patrons can sip and savor to the music of Easton based duo Amber Anchor preceded by Paul Green School of Rock.
Beyond the exceptional craft beer experience, there will be a designated kids and family area adjacent to the beer where we will host a pumpkin and apple giveaway. The Artist Collective of Westport will be on site to help any kids eager to decorate their pumpkins.
We’re so excited for the return of The Small Car Company of Westport for an air-cooled classic car rally and exhibition.
Westoberfest family activities open at 1:00 p.m. and are free to the public. The craft tasting area runs 2:00 p.m. to 5 p.m for those 21+ and advanced early bird tickets are already on sale by visiting our site, www.westportdowntown.com. On the day tickets can be purchased, plus single pint options will be available.
Scores of tastings from a variety of award winning and innovative breweries, an assortment of fun fall activities, and a location steps away from the best shops and restaurants Westport has to offer, Westoberfest is the perfect way to spend an October afternoon with friends and family.
Westoberfest is a rain or shine event, if the forecast calls for it the event will be tented.

Tasting participants receive an age verified wristband, unlimited tastings, as well as a Westoberfest tasting glass and beer koozie, sponsored by Lux Bond & Green.
