One of the reasons why I named this site “Finding Westport” because you never know what you will find at the most random times.
I have a family member who asks me every year for my Christmas list. (Any other thirty-something still hand over a Christmas list every year? or am I the only one?) I was on Amazon asking myself “What won’t I purchase between now and Christmas?” I added some books… I purchase my movies/tv shows digitally now so not point in putting down DVD’s… I could always put down batteries and an iTunes gift card. But thats not fun at all to open up… “Oh hey, here are some AA batteries that my mouse will eat up in a month!” I thought about it for a few minutes and then randomly typed in “Westport, CT” into Amazon’s search. I was hoping a small shop would come up (I really want a Westport keychain for my USB drives Savvy + Grace, trust me, I am on my way once I get a minute to walk around downtown again). I found some photos someone has taken, a few history books… but then I found it…
Yup. The “I heart Westport, CT” license plate frame. I sat there for a few minutes asking myself “Do I purchase this now or do I put this on my list?” but then I was thinking. “Is this some type of American Housewife joke?” but a part of me kept on saying “You started a Westport, Connecticut blog you NEED this!” I know, within the 42ish days, I won’t be purchasing this. The funny thing is, I said to someone recently that I need to take off the license plate frames I currently have advertising the dealership I purchased my car from because I’m tired of those, but don’t know what to replace them with.
But I will be waiting impatiently to see if I open one on Christmas morning, and if I do get one (or two, need one for the front and the back) it will have to be put on my Rouge right away!
