Annual Westport Woman’s Club Art Show returns April 23; 16 local artists to be featured

The Westport Woman’s Club (WWC) has announced the return of its popular Annual Art Show, a three-day event featuring local talent, affordable works, and a tribute to the late Jo Fuchs Luscombe.

Curated by Miggs Burroughs, the 2026 show opens Thursday, April 23, with a free public reception from 4 to 7 p.m. Attendees will be treated to music by Rock & Roll Hall of Fame blues keyboardist Mark Naftalin. The show will also be open Saturday and Sunday, April 25-26, from 2 to 5 p.m.

This year’s exhibition serves as a memorial to Luscombe, a former WWC President and longtime Art Show Chair whose extensive service to Westport included roles as Third Selectman, ZBA Chair, and School Building Committee Chair.

“By featuring smaller, original works… the Art Show will connect local artists and buyers with affordable, local pieces for their collections,” Burroughs said.

Artists exhibiting in Bedford Hall include:

  • Robin Babbin, John Bygott, Bonnie Edelman
  • Susan Fehlinger, Hernan Garcia, Rachel Hall
  • Elisa Keogh, Shelley Lowenstein, Paula Morgan
  • Larry Morse, Jon Puzzuoli, Butch Quick
  • Jodi Rabinowitz, Cindy Wagner, and Tammy Winser

Guest artist Sean Keating will display work in the Drawing Room, where visitors can purchase chances to win small works donated by the participants.

As a non-profit event, all net proceeds will be directed toward need-based scholarships and local community service grants. Major sponsors for the 2026 show include Meadow Ridge, the Dunedain Fund, and the Drew Friedman Community Center.
