Connoisseur Media Acquires Alpha Media, Ranks Among Top 10 U.S. Radio Broadcasters

Connoisseur Media has completed its acquisition of Alpha Media following FCC approval on Aug. 13, 2025, adding 205 stations to its portfolio and bringing its total to 216 across 47 markets. The deal elevates Connoisseur into the top 10 U.S. radio broadcasters by both station count and revenue.

With the expansion, Connoisseur now reaches 20% of the U.S. radio audience. The company’s footprint now spans new markets including San Antonio, Portland, Salt Lake City, San Jose, Palm Springs and Louisville, alongside its heritage stations in Fairfield and New Haven counties in Connecticut and Nassau and Suffolk counties on Long Island, N.Y.

“Local broadcasting has always been at the heart of what we do,” said Jeff Warshaw, CEO of Connoisseur Media. “This acquisition is about assembling the scale and resources to keep radio strong, serve our communities, empower our employees and create even more value for advertisers.”

Warshaw added that meeting Alpha Media employees nationwide reaffirmed his confidence in the acquisition. “I have been impressed with their dedication to radio and their communities,” he said. “I am excited to be associated with such a great group of people.”
