Fashionably Westport brings downtown merchants together for two days of fashion, beauty, and collaboration

Westport, CT – The Westport Downtown Association is excited to announce the second annual Fashionably Westport event.  This event is a collaborative effort with the fashion and beauty retailers and salons of downtown Westport and Playhouse Square as well as the Westport Library. The high-end runway show is  Thursday, March 31st, in the Trefz Forum at the Westport Library at 7:30 PM, followed by a full day of in-store activities and promotions on Friday, April 1st.

Fashionably Westport is proud to support Project Return, a fully integrated program of Homes with Hope, focusing solely on the needs of homeless women. Located at Susie’s House on North Compo Road, Project Return will now be providing long-term housing solutions with on-site support and services in a stable environment. Staying true to its history, Project Return will continue to prioritize young women aged 18 to 24. The residents will develop and implement their individual goals with the guidance of a social worker, leading them to establish a self-sufficient life. Guests will hear from Helen McAlinden, President and CEO of Homes with Hope, about the exciting changes underway that will enhance the lives of the women served. All net proceeds from the evening will be donated to Project Return to support this essential program.

Fashionably Westport’s runway program of style with substance, blends fashion with fun, creating a night out in downtown Westport with cocktails by Don Memo, Titos, Tuck Gin, Don Julio, Gerard Bertrand wine from The Grapevine and light bites prepared by Winfield Deli, DJ Paul Lacano for runway music and cocktail hour following the show, plus a goodie bag for all patrons.
