Immersive and interactive art installations by Holly Danger and Sean “Opus 1” Williams will headline the visual arts programming at VersoFest 2026 at The Westport Library.
Danger’s Lighthouse will take over the Sheffer Gallery, while Williams’ The SneakerVangelisT will be featured in the South and Jesup galleries. The installations will run from March 20 through April 5.
An artist reception is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Library’s Trefz Forum, followed by a 7 p.m. talk with the artists and Miggs Burroughs.
VersoFest is the Library’s annual music and media festival and conference. This year’s programming begins Feb. 27 with rising rock band The Thing, continues March 6 with Bangles co-founder Susanna Hoffs, and culminates during VersoFest weekend, March 26-29, featuring Ani DiFranco, Wyclef Jean, David J and Gina Gershon, among others.

Lighthouse is a large-scale video art installation designed to immerse visitors in light, motion and sound. Thousands of colorful polyester strings line the gallery’s perimeter, illuminated by projections and synchronized to a 10-minute original soundscape. Visitors are encouraged to move through the space, touch the strings and interact with the installation. Faux fur rugs and floor pillows will provide seating for guests who wish to linger.
The work is created by artist Holly Danger and her husband, Jeff Schram. Danger leads the visual design, while Schram manages the technical production and composes original music for the installation. Danger’s previous projects include installations at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens and the K Museum of Contemporary Art in Seoul. She is a recipient of the Connecticut Artist Fellowship Award and was honored as Most Innovative at the Digital Graffiti Festival.
Williams’ The SneakerVangelisT explores sneaker culture as a form of self-expression and artistic inspiration. The exhibit presents digital graphic-based works highlighting iconic sneaker models and examining their cultural impact. Williams, a Brooklyn native, is known internationally as a sneaker consultant, educator and exhibition curator.
Both exhibitions are open to the public during regular library hours.
