
The Westport Playhouse will host the first “New Members Exhibit” by the Artists Collective of Westport with a free reception on Tuesday, March 3, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The reception will feature food, beverages, and live music by Broadway composer and conductor Caren Cole.
The exhibit, in the Playhouse’s Sheffer Barn, will showcase works in a variety of media from 14 new collective members, including Laura Appelman, Peggy Dembicer, Tim Eaton, Ira Hara, Julie Hicks, Tom Kretsch, Shelly Lowenstein, Paula Morgan, Erwin Ong, Butch Quick, Jodi Rabinowitz, Elizabeth Hiltz Thomas, Michael Tomashefsky, and Rowene Weems.
Following the reception, the exhibit will remain open March 4 through March 7 from noon to 4 p.m. each day, with artist talks scheduled at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 8. Admission is free.
