Dining at Massi Co in Westport on a Saturday night quickly proved why it has become one of the area’s most sought-after restaurants. The place was fully alive the moment I walked in—every table filled, the bar packed, and a warm hum of conversation giving the entire space a vibrant, welcoming energy. 

Despite the weekend rush, the staff handled the crowd with effortless confidence. Service was attentive without ever feeling intrusive, and each interaction felt genuine, as if the team truly takes pride in creating a seamless experience even on their busiest nights. 

The food was the star. Every dish arrived beautifully presented, thoughtfully seasoned, and layered with fresh, vibrant flavors. The kitchen clearly knows how to balance creativity with comfort, delivering plates that feel both elevated and approachable. 

For appetizers, we ordered the mussels and the scallops. The mussels came bathing in a rich red pepper–butter sauce, accompanied by slices of toasted bread perfect for soaking up every last bit. The scallops—light, tender, and served with a zesty miso green-garlic butter—showcased the kitchen’s attention to detail and technical skill. 

For mains, we chose the Bistecca alla Fiorentina, a dry-aged strip steak, and the Mafaldine Cacio e Pepe. The Bistecca was easily one of the best steaks I’ve ever had—bold in flavor, beautifully cooked—and something I’ll absolutely order again. The Mafaldine, made with house-made pasta, was silky, perfectly seasoned, and capable of satisfying any pasta craving. 

Dessert was a standout as well: a Tiramisu with a plate practically blanketed in whipped mascarpone—the classic done generously and done right. 

Massi Co strikes that rare balance between a lively social scene and consistently high-quality dining. Whether you’re settling in for a full meal or just grabbing a drink at the bar, it more than delivers on its growing reputation. If you’re looking for excellent food, warm service, and that unmistakable weekend buzz, Massi Co is absolutely worth the visit.
