Verso Studios, will present its first-ever Battle of the Bands on Saturday, Jan. 10, bringing a high-energy live music competition to The Westport Library’s Trefz Forum.
The event will feature four teen and college-aged bands from the region — The Breakers, Clockwork, Caravan and MOSS — competing live on one stage, with the audience deciding the winners. Doors open at 7 p.m., with performances beginning at 8 p.m.
Tickets are priced at $10 for students and $20 for general admission and are available for purchase online.
More than a traditional concert, the Battle of the Bands is designed as an interactive experience. Attendees will vote at the conclusion of the performances to determine first- and second-place winners, who will receive cash prizes of $500 and $250, respectively.
Verso Studios launched the event as part of its mission to support creativity, collaboration and community engagement through media and live programming. Organizers said the competition reflects a growing commitment to spotlighting young, local musicians while transforming the library into a dynamic performance space.
