Out with the old and in with the new. The change of seasons is the perfect time to declutter those closets. But don’t wait or you’ll miss the date. Tax-deductible donations will be accepted until October 17th.
The WWC also invites local retail businesses to contribute their surplus inventories of clothing and accessories for this event. Donated items can be dropped off any weekday from Monday to Friday, between 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the coat room of The Westport Woman’s Club, located at 44 Imperial Avenue, Westport, CT.
Items requested include:
Women’s and men’s clothing
Accessories (shoes, boots, handbags, scarves, jewelry, etc.)
Please note that torn or soiled items will not be accepted, nor will personal items such as undergarments, lingerie, and bathing suits.
The WWC is so grateful to the community for its generosity. Together we all make a difference. Funds raised from this Sale support the philanthropic endeavors of the Club including: the WWC Food Closet (50th anniversary since WWC opened the food closet to assist those faced with food insecurity), need-based student scholarships, and community grants awarded yearly to many local charities throughout Fairfield County.

Plan to come and explore a variety of items! The WWC will host its annual Clothing Tag Sale on the following dates:
- Friday, October 24th: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday, October 25th: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Sunday, October 26th: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Special early bird access will be available for one hour before the sale starts on the first day, Friday, October 24th. For a donation of $10, you can enter at 9 a.m. and get first pick of the many treasures!
