Two weeks after opening its highly anticipated exhibition, the Museum of Contemporary Art \ Connecticut (MoCA\CT) continues to showcase Enough Already: Women Artists from the Sara M. + Michelle Vance Waddell Collection, now on view through Feb. 15, 2026.

The show, organized by MoCA\CT’s Visual Arts Advisory Committee, features more than 80 works across painting, sculpture, photography, textiles, design, and multimedia. Artists include Louise Bourgeois, Jenny Holzer, Barbara Kruger, Catherine Opie, Cindy Sherman, Kiki Smith, and Carrie Mae Weems, alongside emerging talents. Themes explored include gender, identity, power, and resilience.

The opening reception on Nov. 13 drew collectors, exhibiting artists, and notable figures from the arts community, including Westport artist Miggs Burroughs, as well as representatives from regional galleries and museums. Highlights included a panel discussion, On the Art of Collecting: Building and Maintaining a Collection, with collectors Tamara White and Sara Vance Waddell.

“Collecting art has given me a purpose,” said Sara Vance Waddell. “This art belongs to the people, so you’ve got to get it out there. It’s important that this work is seen, like it is being seen here at MoCA\CT.”

Throughout the exhibition, MoCA\CT will host public programs including film screenings, gallery talks, workshops, and performances designed to engage audiences with the artists’ work.
