Bluegrass favorite Greensky Bluegrass will perform at Levitt Pavilion in Westport on Sunday, Aug. 23, as part of the venue’s 2026 summer season, organizers announced Wednesday.
The five-member band — Anders Beck on dobro, Michael Arlen Bont on banjo, Dave Bruzza on guitar, Mike Devol on upright bass, and Paul Hoffman on mandolin — is known for electrifying live performances and devoted fans who follow them on tour. Greensky Bluegrass blends traditional bluegrass with contemporary storytelling, writing songs about everyday life and shared human experiences.
In addition to paid-ticket performances like Greensky Bluegrass, Levitt Pavilion will host more than 50 free shows throughout the year, including Circles Around the Sun on Saturday, June 27 at 7 p.m. The Los Angeles-based instrumental group, formed in 2015 and linked to the legacy of the Grateful Dead, has toured with a rotating cast of musicians while maintaining a signature blend of psych-rock, jazz-funk, and cosmic grooves.
Member pre-sale for Greensky Bluegrass begins Wednesday, March 10, with public tickets available Friday, March 13, at 10 a.m. Free-ticket access for Circles Around the Sun opens for members March 11, with public tickets available March 13.
