Dogs In A Pile will bring their high-energy, genre-blending sound to the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts on Friday, July 17, 2026.
The Asbury Park, New Jersey-based five-piece is touring in support of their latest album, Distroid, a 10-song collection that captures studio versions of some of the band’s most beloved live staples. Known for their improvisational style and marathon touring schedule — averaging roughly 130 shows per year since 2022 — Dogs In A Pile have built a devoted national following known as the “Dog Pound.”
The band — guitarist Jimmy Law, guitarist Brian Murray, keyboardist Jeremy Kaplan, bassist Sam Lucid, and drummer Joe Babick — blends Americana storytelling, bluegrass, jazz improvisation, funk, Latin rhythms, and psychedelic-tinged rock into expansive live performances.
“Distroid” reflects the group’s dual identity: tightly constructed four-minute funk and psych-rock songs alongside sprawling, 15-minute improvisational journeys filled with intricate unison lines and genre-shifting interplay.
The July 17 show at Levitt Pavilion will be general admission, standing room only, with both Premium Lawn and Lawn sections available. Premium Lawn tickets offer a viewing area closest to the stage and access to a dedicated bar. Lawn ticket holders may access the bar on the Plotkin Terrace.
A $4 facility fee will be added to all non-member tickets. No outside food or beverages are permitted. Full bars and food trucks will operate on site. The concert is open to all ages; tickets are required for children ages 7 and up.
