Connecticut chapter of HDSA announces 2025 Team Hope Walk at Sherwood Island State Park

Mark your calendars for a meaningful morning by the water—the 2025 Team Hope Walk is coming to Sherwood Island State Park in Westport this fall, bringing the Fairfield County community together to raise awareness and support for Huntington’s disease (HD).

Hosted by the Connecticut Chapter of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA), the walk will take place at Sherwood Island Connector West, Westport, CT 06880, with registration beginning at 9:00 AM and the walk kicking off at 10:00 AM. All proceeds go directly toward HDSA’s mission to improve the lives of people affected by HD and their families.

This event is part of HDSA’s Team Hope Walk program, the largest national grassroots fundraising initiative for Huntington’s disease. Since it began in 2007, Team Hope Walks have taken place in over 100 cities nationwide, raising more than $28 million to support vital research, care, and advocacy efforts. Every step taken at these events helps bring hope to the thousands living with HD and their loved ones.

Whether you walk in honor of a loved one or to support the cause, you’ll be joining a powerful community of families, friends, and neighbors united by compassion and purpose.
