Westport Country Playhouse will present “Ari Axelrod: My Year in Anatevka” on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m.

The performance marks a return to the venue for Axelrod following previous sold-out concert appearances. The show serves as a concert celebration centered on the musical Fiddler on the Roof.

Over the span of one year, Axelrod performed in three separate productions of Fiddler on the Roof across three states. During those productions, he portrayed six distinct characters, including a milkman, a tailor, and a priest.

The production features selections from the Fiddler on the Roof score, behind-the-scenes stories from Axelrod’s staging experiences, and songs inspired by the show’s characters. The setlist also includes music that was not included in the original Broadway release.

Axelrod has received the Bistro Award for Best Theatrical Artistry in Song and the Julie Wilson Award from the Mabel Mercer Foundation. His theatrical credits include work with Paper Mill Playhouse, North Shore Music Theatre, and The York Theatre Company.

Tickets for the performance are priced at $30, $40, and $50. The show runs for approximately 90 minutes without an intermission.
