Susanna Hoffs, co-founder of the Bangles and one of pop music’s most recognizable voices, will appear at The Westport Library as a featured guest of VersoFest 2026 in a special storytellers event combining conversation and live music.

Hoffs will take the stage with award-winning journalist and rock memoirist Alisyn Camerota on Friday, March 6, at 7 p.m. in the Trefz Forum. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $50.

The event is part of VersoFest, The Westport Library’s annual music and media festival, which brings artists, writers, and cultural figures together for conversations and performances. Hoffs’ appearance is one of two events scheduled ahead of the main VersoFest weekend, running March 26–29.

During the evening, Hoffs will reflect on her career in music, writing, and popular culture, while also performing songs spanning her decades-long body of work. Camerota will lead the discussion, touching on Hoffs’ time with the Bangles, her solo career, and her recent success as an author.

An international pop icon, Hoffs co-founded the Bangles, whose string of hits included “Eternal Flame,” “Manic Monday” and “In Your Room.” Following the band’s success, she built a multifaceted career with solo albums and collaborations with artists such as Matthew Sweet, Elvis Costello, and Rufus Wainwright.

In 2023, Hoffs published her debut novel, This Bird Has Flown, which was praised by The New York Times and described by NPR as a “valentine to music.” Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.

VersoFest 2026 also features a conversation with folk-rock artist Ani DiFranco on March 26, a concert by Wyclef Jean on March 27 and a book talk with actress and performer Gina Gershon on March 28.
